The construction of the Farmobile started in 1958 by the German tractor manufacturer Fahr (now Deutz-Fahr) and was produced in Greece between 1962 and 1966. Less than 1,000 vehicles were manufactured. With an engine and chassis parts from BMW and a Porsche patented gearbox it was probably too expensive to produce. It is very similar to the Austrian offroad vehicle Steyer-Puch Haflinger but has only two-wheel drive.
